Freelance designer
A freelance designer does't have an employment contract with any company or individual, but works independently in the different parts of one or more projects with a fixed duration, quantified by hours or under a price previously negotiated with the client.
That is my career goal, to be a freelance designer.
I could work from home and outside. I like the idea of having to go out and interact with the client and, at the same time, being able to work at my place. It's part of the experience.
I don't really expect to be a millionaire, but I would like to earn enough to treat myself once in a while. The little pleasures in life.
I have a small advantage (at least in my opinion it is an advantage) and that is that I will be an integral designer, i.e I will have knowledge of graphic and industrial design, which is fantastic because it opens many paths for me to follow and, in a sense, increase my chances of being a freelancer.
The most important thing about my career is that I want to do it outside Chile, as I have mentioned before in another blog. I would like to get experience from abroad to be able to return to Chile and, with some luck and a lot of effort, share my knowledge to increase my discipline here in Chile.
